VPN issue

We have found that our employees that have Xfinity home internet cannot stay connected to our VPN, all other employees that have other internet service providers work fine.  After running ping and tracert tests on the Xfinity home internet we have found that it runs a steady 25 pings and then goes into expired on transit for about 25 pings.  This explains why the users can only stay connected to the VPN for about 30 seconds.  If you are having problems with your VPN intermittently disconnecting try running a ping -t test or a tracert to see if there is an internet connection problem.  We have reported this problem to Xfinity support and are awaiting a response.

user_fkvwxe thank you for taking the time to reach out today regarding your employees concerns with connecting to your VPN. I know how important it is to have that connection in order to process job functions, and we would be happy to assist with this concern. Are you also personally impacted by this concern as well?

I have Xfinity at home and have the same problem with the vpn connection.  When I run a ping of the IP address it constantly goes to expired in transit.

user_fkvwxe, Thanks for confirming this for me. I was experiencing a similar issue while working from home. Let's get this fixed. Are you noticing this issue on multiple devices? What is the make and model of your device?
