very slow internet

I am on 1G internet plan.  My download speed should be 1G but i am only at 250-350 mbps.    I called your number but i am always being asked to reboot my modem.    This is a joke.   What is the number to call so that i could talk to resolve my internet speed issue

user_bcnbg3 I totally understand how frustrating speed-related issues can be, and I’d be reaching out too if I were in your shoes. Restarting the modem is definitely one of the basic troubleshooting steps, but if that’s all you’ve been told to do, I can see how that would get old fast. We’re here to help you get this resolved. Besides restarting the modem, have you tried any other steps so far? Also, are you currently connected via WiFi or Ethernet?

I am connected to wifi.   I ran multiple speed tests on my internet and all consistently returned 250-350 mbps download speed.

user_bcnbg3 Do you have a way to test your connection via ethernet? That is the best way to get true speeds and are you also making sure to use a device that is able to register the full 1 gig speeds? For example some devices are capped out at 250-350 Mbps even tho speeds you sub for are higher.
