Upload Speeds

I just had my service turned on in my new apartment about 3 months ago. I went to the Comcast store to set up my service and was given the necessary hardware to take home with me.(Gateway)
I have the 800mbps internet plan. When I test my speeds my download is usually close to the 800mbps, sometimes a bit lower, sometimes a bit higher. My upload speeds typically show between 20-23 mbps.
However I was sent an email from Comcast Xfinity stating that my upload speeds have been increased by 75% for no additional charge, yet when I test my upload speeds they are still the same. I see no change, at all, in my upload speeds.

I'm just wondering what is going on. Is this due to the Gateway I have not being adequate? Is it the area I'm in?

@user_eb21c6 Great to see your excitement about the recent increases to our internet speed tiers! I would be quite concerned as well seeing the update communicated to me only to not see it reflect in the actual service use and speed tests. Have you gotten a chance to power cycle/reset the modem since you received that communication?

Got the same email here on 3/13.  The subject is past tense, "We just increased your upload speeds." - I have rebooted my modem and also multiple speedtests over the last couple of days, upload speed still same as it ever was (22-23mbps).  That said, I also saw https://corporate.comcast.com/press/releases/comcast-upgrades-speeds-million-xfinity-internet-customers-no-additional-cost which suggests my "Connect" plan is going up to 100mbps upload? That's a lot more than 75%, and would be pretty rad for the price of admission.

@XfinityBradM No, I have not power-cycled the modem. I will try that today.

Update: I just power-cycled the modem, and this did, indeed, fix the issue. Thank you.
