Upload speed capped at 40Mbps

Hi, A few weeks back I changed to the 1Gb down/100Mb up tier internet service.  Download is hitting/exceeding advertised speed but upload seems capped at 40Mbps.  I've tried power cycling the modem but upload is still capped.  I have a Netgear CM2000 modem, which the "customerowned" device page shows as green with the comment "Your modem is optimized for the plan you selected", so I don't believe it is a device compatability issue.

The CM2000 is not compatible with their new Next Gen / mid-split /enhanced upload speeds.

Check for third-party / retail-purchased devices that are currently compatible here;

https://www.xfinity.com/support/internet/customerowned  Scroll down to "See all Modems". Then scroll down to "Compatible Modems For Enhanced Speeds".

Their XB6, XB7, and XB8 rented gateway devices are also compatible.

Hey @user_0qbkhx, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. @EG is absolutely correct. The Netgear CM2000 is a recommended Xfinity Internet device, but is not eligible to receive our Next Generation Enhanced Internet speeds. You can review eligible cable modems that support up to 100 Mbps upload by following the steps above. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
