Unreasonable and Without Notification 2.2X Hike in Monthly Internet Charge

Dear Xfinity Customer Relations,
I have been an Xfinity customer continuously since 2023. That is three years since I have moved to Boston. I am writing to formally dispute the charges on my September 2026 statement. In September my monthly charge rose from $55.94 to $123.94, an increase of 120%! I was not notified that this change was going to be implemented and no one contacted me to offer a continuing rate before the new price hike took effect. This is VERY unreasonable considering the offers that were being provided to new Xfinity customers all around Boston. Based on the experience of other customers in this forum, this is a shared conflict that other Xfinity customers have also been experiencing as there contract period "ends" without an explanation, option to consider a fair rate, and refusal to adjust unreasonable rate hikes. This is not how a company should treat a "Gold" customer. I would greatly appreciate a response within 14 days as this lack of transparency in consumer pricing, especially new compared to long term consumers is illegal in regards to the outlines dictated by the Federal Communications Commission.
