Unable to Sign up in xFinity WiFi Hotspots App

I just started my xFinity internet & phone service a couple of days ago.  I received email from xFinity that informed my that I can download the xfinity wifi hotspots app and access wifi outside of my home.  The service is free for all customers using xfinity internet service.

I downloaded app and tried to sign up.  I entered my xfinity login info and got the error message saying: XFINITY@ WIFI is not available with your tier of service (Error Code 0106).  I would like to know why the service is not available to me.

I just upgraded my internet service and I’m experiencing the same issue. I have not had this issue with my previous plan only since I’ve updated has it not worked. I also get the same error code 0106

Spent hours in chat and on the phone with xfinity. Horrible experience. Kept getting bumped around to different tech members. We even went to the xfinity store and they just gave us phone numbers to call. So frustrating.
