Unable to connect ot Microsoft hosted applications

I have Xfinity internet service.  As of 24 hours ago, I am no longer able to connect to any Microsoft hosted sites - LinkedIn, Sharepoint, Teams, Office 365.  I can get to other sites like Google, gmail, etc. and I can reach the Microsoft sites via my cellular service (verizon).  I have also done a reboot and just spent an hour with Xfinity tech support only to learn my modem and internet are fine.  This is being reported by several others in my neighborhood as well with the same timing.  I found a similar report from a year ago on this page and saw it was resolved.  Wondering if any others are experiencing something similar now and if there is a resolution possible through this community page.

@SAW322

Hello were you able to get the issue resolved yet, have you tried clearing your caches or cookies?

I have the same problem. Looking for a solution, too.

I have cleared cache/cookies. No change. When i am out and about using cell service (ATT), I can reach MS  - e.g., OneNote syncs. At home, i cannot login on any MS site  - Visual Studio will not sync. OneNote asks for email address but then spins, cant access. Strange all this just happened - something to do with Xfinity’s internet  - both wifi and ethernet.

I notice that the MS links i cant get past include Oath2 in the url address. So maybe this is an authorization issue.

Hello xfinity employees… @XfinityOrlandoM  and @XfinityBrianH … please see the following posting as well. This is the same issue and I am still waiting for someone to call me back. I had called and it was supposed to be escalated to a supervisor who was supposed to give me a call.

Well I chatted with a live Xfinity Assistant last night  - really nice. Gave my phone number  - promised technical help would call within 20 minutes. No call. I am disappointed. Maybe today? More info = I cant login into microsoft websites via home computer  - however i have no problem when using VPN. Now im wondering if this a Microsoft security protocol issue. Im in Leesburg VA btw.

The problem is clearly with Xfinity -  I can reach MS via cellular an via VPN, but not through 'vanilla' Xfinity. Have submitted two work tickets, received no useful response. To the Xfinity Official Employees - my modem is fine, I have done resets, I have cleared my cookies etc.; the problem lies with YOUR platform

Xfinity/Comcast issue resolved for us.  Took a few days....

Our Community received notification from Comcast that the issues involving Microsoft websites have been resolved. There was an update issued by Microsoft which resulted in traffic being blocked. Comcast has been working with Microsoft to re-route the traffic to allow access
