Ubuntu Laptop: How to join secure XFINITY and Xfinity Mobile hotspots?

Longtime Xfinity customer here.

All my laptops run the latest Ubuntu.

How can I join the secure XFINITY and Xfinity Mobile hotspots?

(Before anyone says "Linux is not supported", with the correct settings, and a downloadable certificate, this should definitely be doable -- it's all what's baked into the Android app.)

Anyone out there have a current and comprehensive list of settings, and downloadable certificate, for this?

It would be great to be able to join these secure hotspots while out and about with my laptop.

Appreciatively,

Mark

Interesting, but not particularly relevant to Linux.

From another post:

ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
update_config=1

network={
ssid="XFINITY"
scan_ssid=1
key_mgmt=WPA-EAP
eap=TTLS
phase1="tls_disable_tlsv1_1=1 tls_disable_tlsv1_2=1"
phase2="auth=PAP"
domain_suffix_match="aaa.wifi.comcast.com"
domain_suffix_match2="aaa.wifi.xfinity.com"
anonymous_identity="xanonymous-ttls@xfinity.com"
identity="<Xfinity ID>"
password="<Xfinity Password>"
}

These settings did not work for me.

What about them is incorrect?
