Tv stream keeps dropping

When I am watching tv the channe will cut out and go to the home screen.  Does not  matter what app im on. I then go back to what I was watching and it will stream another 5 or 10 minutes and drop off again. This syarted about 2 weeks ago.

Have you already run through some troubleshooting steps on your device? Are you running into that problem with a cable box or through our stream app?

I am streaming through apps on my TCL with roku installed TV as well as a Tablo dvr/antenna ota streaming device. I have just installed a tp link switch so I can have everything connected via ethernet cables. But the issue is still happening. It seems to be centered around the 4-7pm cst time frame. The rest of the time it is pretty stable. But when it is dropping it will cut out every 2-3 minutes. It does not freeze up or search for a lagging signal with the graphical spinning icon but just immediately cuts out returning to the home screen.

@kchalus Are you seeing an issue with other apps along with the Xfinity Stream app?
