Tv and iPad Buffering

Usually at night, the tv and iPad is buffering often. When it happens often, I will have to reset the gateway. It has become an issue to reset every two or three days. This happened a couple of years ago and the cable from the pole to the house was replaced. That corrected it, until lately.

Since issues occur at night, your network is likely experiencing peak usage

congestion.  On your iPad, try force-closing the app or reinstalling it if the problem persists.

user_k2qhc9 Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. I can understand how frustrating buffering can be when you are tryinh to relax and enjoy a show or movie. It's important to me that we help you find a resolution. You mentioned that you are resetting the gateway. Are you manually restarting the gateway or are you using our amazing Xfinity app to troubleshoot the connection as well? The app is a great way to send signals to the modem, including provisioning signals to help resolve connection concerns.

When the buffering is occuring are you experiencing any other issues with the internet service, such as drops in connections on other devices?
