tablo tv port forwarding not working - frustrated

My tablo tv box worked with my old router and its port forwarding. Since switching to the Xfi gateway, I canNOT get the port forwarding working. I have done it through the app and have read and the port forwarding help article.

Help me get it working.

I'm very tempted to return the gateway and buy a new modem/router.

Hello, @NFSlife thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. Sorry to hear of the issues with getting port forwarding set up on the Xfinity Gateway following the support article: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/port-forwarding-xfinity-wireless-gateway

Searching the forums I did find an older post where a problem solver had mentioned that if a static IP address is being set up, try leaving it as DHCP pool, and wanted to see if this relates to the issue you had and could be a fix: https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/port-forward-not-working/6543768ee05b5f65da04c96d

Please let me know if you're still experiencing issues with getting port forwarding set up.
