Swapping from XB7 to XB8 and keeping all devices

I just got an XB8 modem. While I know that getting them activated is easy my concern is having my network blend in seamlessly.  What I am getting at.... I have multiple pc's and Roku devices. No biggies. I also have 13 WIFI cameras and all are using the 192.168 range. Will I be able to go from XB7 to XB8 and not have to reset all my cams and get them online and then have to delete and add the new IP's associated to those devices.  I have swapped from XB6 to XB7 in the past and when the new modem came up is was as if nothing happened or changed and all my pc's tv's, Rohu and especially Wi-Fi cams to work. I don't feel like getting on a ladder in Chicago weather to config the cams again and add them.

HI there @bvolinsky!  Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out to Xfinity Support here on our community forum.  No worries!  You have reached out to the right team, and we are going to get things squared away for you.  In updating your device, unless you make changes to your network, you could be able to connect without issue once the device is activated.  Were you able to activate your XB8 without issue?
