Strong incoming signal--weak internet

I currently get 2G speed coming into my home but the wifi carries from 300 to 400 upload to 150 to download. Is this the standard speed for wifi or should it be more?

Thanks

I'd say that's generally not bad (although I usually see higher download than upload on wi-fi - like the reverse of the numbers you presented)

But there are many variables: 2.4, 5Ghz or 6GHz, distance, congestion, construction, devices.  On the latter, I get very different results from various: Laptops, tablets, phones, streaming devices etc. and often just moving them a few feet makes a difference.

Thanks for posting on our community forums, Nestani. That's a great question. As @strega7 mentioned, Wi-Fi speed varies due to factors like distance from the router, signal interference, network congestion, and device limitations. Walls, other electronics, and using the 2.4 GHz vs. 5 GHz band can also affect performance. I see @EG also offered some good tips to start with. Did you get a chance to check those out?

Thanks for your help, @strega7 and @EG
