Storm ready wifi

So if I am understanding this correct. The storm Ready wifi also works as a signal booster while power is up and running? Curious if I wanted to ethernet to the storm ready router at one end of my house because the regular router is at the other end will it have the same connection speed as if I was running ethernet to the main router?

@Ashcp Great question. Ethernet connection is the best connection. You get the fastest speeds and a more reliable connection. I also had the same problem as you with my modem/router being on one end of my house but my office is at the other. I ended up buying a long ethernet cable from a popular online shopping site and ran my line to my office. Generally speaking Ethernet cables can reach about 100 meters before their speed is compromised.

Hello - I just received this device.

What are the physical Ethernet port speeds?  -- i.e., when connected to my XFi gigabit router?

Thanks,

Bob

user_vjf9gs Hi, thank you for following up. I'm glad to hear you go that device. Let us know if you have any other questions so far. To confirm, were you asking the maximum throughput when hardwired to the gateway?
