Splitter issues

For the last several years, my system has consisted of a single cable, running to an Xfinity supplied splitter, with one leg going to my main cable box, and the other leg to my gateway.  That doesn’t work any more.

As of yesterday, I am no longer able to run anything off a splitter. I have tried every conceivable configuration…different branded cables, 3 different splitters (including a new one from Xfinity). No matter what, I am only able to run cable to a single source, either TV or internet…not both, as nothing makes it past a splitter any more.

any help on this would be great

What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here; http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1

Please copy all of the text in its entirety of the *Downstream Power Levels*, the *SNR's* (Signal to Noise Ratios), and the *Upstream Power Level* numbers and paste them into your next post.

Hey @Doug_M99,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us through our Xfinity Support Forums. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues within the home. Were you able to pull some readings from the modem that @EG has suggested above? This will help us determine if there are any issues. Do you experience any issues on the television as well such as picture quality issues, OnDemand Issues, or freezing? Please let us know at your next available convenience.

Hi Guys,

I'm experiencing the very same problem as Doug. Please take a look at my numbers and let me know what you think.

Many thanks,

Kevin
