Speed issues with CODA56

I currently have the Gigabit Plan (Download up to 1000Mbps / Upload up to 150Mbps) and previously used the CM700 modem.

The CM700 provided download speeds of approximately 750Mbps and upload speeds of around 22Mbps. Recently, I purchased the CODA56 modem, recommended by Xfinity, and completed its activation.

However, the download and upload speeds remain similar to those of the CM700.

I would like to request confirmation on whether this issue stems from my CODA56 modem or the network infrastructure.

Hello @user_dveqfq, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum and we would be happy to help. What speeds are you getting when running an Xfinity Speed Test on your device? What device are you using?

I used the Xfinity Speed Test within the Xfinity app, and the device is an iPhone 12 Pro. 

The current measured speeds are 743.4 Mbps for download and 21.4 Mbps for upload.

@user_dveqfq, Thanks for the update, I appreciate it! So since you do have an older model of phone it may not be able to process all that speed. Can you try the speed test on another device and preferable hardwired to the modem?

I also tried it on my desktop, but the result still shows 765.2 / 21.4

Thanks for being on top of that and testing it! By any chance do you have any devices that are hard-wired to the modem that you can test and share the results with us? We are here to help and get this resolved, we will be by your side.
