Sometimes I connect at a slow internet speed
At times when I check in the morning the Xfinity speed test will show 50 mbps or slower. If I disconnect and reconnect it jumps to over 150 mbps. Why? Am I missing a setting somewhere? It this just normal?

Make this more enthusiastic: great question depending on how you're testing your Internet speed you may see a fluctuation and the readings a great tool to use is our Xfinity App you can run the troubleshooting link that will first diagnose the signals going into your home, it then will then run a speed test on the speeds coming into your modem, if it detects a issue it will then run through some trouble shooting steps to fix the issue if the issues cannot be fixed remotely it will walk you through setting up for a technician to come out to your home to fix the issue.
Can you give me a little more detail on how you run your speed test? Are you running it via the app or just going to speed test website to check the speeds? Also are you checking the speeds when connected via Wi-Fi or are you connected directly into the modem via Ethernet cable?
