Setup Storm Ready WiFi and now my 2.4ghz devices won't connect

I just set up my Storm Ready device and it seems to have merged my 5 ghz and 2.4 ghz. Now my smart devices that only connect to 2.4 aren't working. Smart plugs and lights etc. Anyone know how to correct this?

Hey there, @user_nzqhq8 thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your Storm Ready Wi-Fi. You would not be able to use bridge mode with Storm Ready Wi-Fi.  If you are using separate SSIDs for your 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, this activation process will merge these into a single SSID and password across both bands for a stronger, more efficient and reliable connection. Are you able to connect your devices to your signal network?

Hi, thanks for the information. That is what I was afraid of. Many of my smart plugs and bulbs only work with the 2.4 ghz band. So they are not functioning

@user_nzqhq8 Have you tried making the network name the same as what your 2.4 Ghz connection was previously? Sometimes you can help them find the connection by nothing this, but it doesn't always work.
