Is this a new move in / new service installation ? Is / are the light / lights on the modem lit steadily or are they blinking ? If lit steadily, Did you get the device activated for service yet ?
I have had 4 years of service with Xfinity and recieved new modem to replace the old one. It was several attempts and a couple hours by my wife and I both trying to connect the new modem device consistently unable to get past "a step" for hours trying time and time again. This new modem better work much better than the old one that dropped us all the time or it is time for Starlink.
Hello @user_qqip1f, I am sorry to hear that you had such a tough time getting the new modem activated. This is typically a simple upgrade, but it sounds like it put you through the ringer a good bit. Our new modems should provide you with a much more reliable experience, but there are a plethora of places that network issues could come from. How have things been holding up over the past few days?
