Service is horrible

My service is unreliable.  When I am forced to call about outages the help comes 3 to 10 days later. I am handicapped and do not leave home unless to see doctor. The internet is essential to my well-being. The cost of my service is almost more than I can pay. This does not add up to good service to me. Can I get some relief somewhere. I do not want to switch to another provider but it is tempting. Thank you for your consideration.
