Second IP Address Needed For SB8200 (Eero and wired connection)

I just upgraded to a gigabit connection speed and had to get a different modem because of that. I ended up picking the SB8200 (had the SB6580 before) but when trying to install both my wired connection to the PC and the connection to my Eero Wifi mesh I could never get them both to work.

After many hours of fiddling I finally found out that only one of them can work at the time, because the SB8200 is a modem and not a router. I noticed in this link that Xfinity can assign a 2nd IP address so that I can connect both my PC and Wifi system to the modem at the same time. @Comcastallly helped in that linked posting to get a 2nd IP address set up, would you or another Xfinity employee be able to help me advise how to best proceed here?

 

Also open to other solutions if anyone has them (I was thinking of putting a switch between the Eero and the PC so I can link them together that way).
