Remote Protocols - SSH and RDP

I need to use SSH and RDP for my job, but starting about a week ago, I can no longer connect to any of my work servers (on AWS) using these protocols (i have tried on 3 different machines) when I take my laptop to use the wifi at panera I can still connect from there, so the problem is not the machine. Is comcast now blocking ports 22 or 3389? If so, how do I turn it off? If I can't turn it off, I will have to change providers, so this is desperate.

Port 22 shouldn't be blocked.  Neither should RDP, but your work really ought to reconsider exposing RDP to the internet.  That should really be behind a VPN server and a decent firewall.

Here's what they do block: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/list-of-blocked-ports

As far as ssh failing, is it just failing on the DNS lookup?  Can you get to the ssh server if you try to connect with it's IP address?  If you are using Xfinity gear and have their 'advanced security' switched on, there could be a net nanny issue too.  Other people have complained that Xfinity blocks their company sites.  You could try switching it off.

Had same issue inside my house.  Have computer on one LAN port of the xFi and my laptop of wifi suddenly this week would not RDP to that PC, worked fine for 3 weeks with same setup, then stopped for the last week and suddenly today works again. I've changed nothing except I had an extend internet outage overnight.
