Please show me how I can check interface for packet errors or dropped packets.
Please show me step by step how I check modem for errors both correctable and uncorrectable.

Because I was kinda wondering the same things as him 😜 and I can't seem to figure out my password. Mainly cause I can't figure out why my upload speeds are at 7.0 to 14.0 so I figure if there was packet loses and that link showed it then I could figure out what to do? .. NO NOT trolling. As I posted inquiring about my bad upload speeds I got no help at all.
last tech at my house said my modem (xf1) is getting 40 mbps according to his phone he showed me. However xfinity website shows quit differant. Sorry For my rude response.

No I wasn't trying to challenge. I am honestly feeling very frusterated with my upload speeds. I figured if i could surve the forums for any solution to my problem and give it a try why not? I am not savea (idk the spelling) in the ways why or how the intrenet works fully., I can change my network adapter settings build my computer but that's it. I can reboot my modem which doesn't seem to work.. slow upload means No work for me. . I Like xfinity we have been with xfinity/comcast since 2007 and also do not beleive the grass is greener on the other side. I even spoke to a lady in the store last night who asked me if she should switch to xfinity I said YES.
I have rebooted my modem 1 to 2 times a day. I find it hard to beleive the tech's phone said 40 mbps even though I saw it with my eyes . then xfinity's speed test saying 7 to 14 . and my vods showing bad stutters or delays. So performance matches xfinity's speed test results. It's a mystery .I feel like noone can answer it seems. So I wish I knew if it was packet loss or something.
