Random ping spikes, and slower internet speed.

For about the past 2 weeks I have been experiencing ping spikes and packet loss as often as every 5 minutes to excess of 1000 MS not only on games, but also everything else. I've already tried all the basic steps of restarting the router, checking that the coax cable is on tight, it's not my ethernet cable either because I still suffer the same issues when on Wifi as well. The time of day doesn't seem to matter, maybe just a tiny bit better later at night. My router is an XB7-T. I was wondering if you guys could check if everything is right on your side before we escalate to sending anyone to my house

Sev417 I appreciate you trying to troubleshoot on your end. Do you see any service interruptions or planned maintenance from our Xfinity app by any chance?

Hello, there is nothing regarding that on the app. I do recall something similar to this happened like 4 or 5 years ago and it had something to do with the cable outside I believe. If it does end up being that, would that be of any cost to me?

@Sev417

Have you had a chance to see if any of those troubleshooting tips apply ?
