PS5 knocking Pod in another room offline
When I use my PS5 with my Xfi modem (either using ethernet or wifi), my Pod in another room goes offline. When I disconnect the PS5 (again either via ethernet or wifi), the pod comes back online. I disconnected all ethernet devices connected to the Xfi modem except the PS5 and the pod goes offline. The PS5 is the only device that seems to have this problem. All my other devices don’t affect the pod in the other room. I’m at a loss. If it were just when it was connected via ethernet I would assume it was a bad cable or port. But it also happens when connected via wifi (no ethernet cord connected). Any ideas? I reset the Xfi gateway and this did not solve the problem.

If you are playing a 4K game, you need excellent upload and download speeds. It's possible your game controller is causing RF interference. Is the game controller hardwired or on Bluetooth?

Bluetooth. It happens when not playing a game. When I connect online the pod goes offline immediately. The controller’s bluetooth can cause this? I’ll try connecting directly and see if this happens again.

I switched to hardwired controller connection and I still have connection. My controllers bluetooth was the culprit then. Thank you so much! I never would have figured that out. I was going bonkers reconfiguring and moving things around like crazy. Again, thank you. 🥹

Glad to hear everything worked out for you. I will be 80 later this year if I last that long.
