Privacy warnings

I received a privacy warning yesterday telling me that xfinity is blocking encrypted DNS traffic. It was taken care of  but has popped up again today. Am I going to have to deal with this every day? After it was taken care of, there was a warning that my address was “Hidden” and my personal information was vulnerable. This started immediately after my neighbor got his xfinity hooked up. Was it hooked up wrong? Is xfinity going to keep my information safe?
