Port forward doesn't work

I'm trying to open port for Amcrest NVR. Tried all method you recommend....none of them work, still can't connect to my cameras from my phone. Checked my port with "Port checker" - port Closed. Any idea how to do it. It worked fine with previous internet provider AT&T for more than 10 years....change provider to xfinity for faster speed.

Hey @user_kos61m, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We do have limited support for third-party equipment. Are you using an Xfinity xFi Gateway or using your own personal modem and router?

Yes, I do have Xfinity xFi Gateway and I did try to open port using Xfinity phone application. Didn't work.

Some additional things you can try is setting up the port forward settings and power cycle the modem @user_kos61m. You can also try to disable the xFi Advance Security to see if that is blocking any incoming connections. Outside that, we would recommend reaching out to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to assist troubleshooting their equipment. We can assist providing how to set up port forwarding, but as an advance networking feature, out support outside that is limited.
