I lost access to my wireless Chamerlain Garage Doors, and after an hour on the phone with Chamberlain and an hour with Comcast, they blame each other

They say that there was an update to the Xfi modem/router that either split or unsplit the 2.4 and the 5 and caused the wireless garages to lose connection to the server.

I have 6 Xpods and if I merge or split the signal to get the garages to work, I will lose all my Xpod extender.

Is there a modem to buy that will work and work the pods?

Somebody give me work around, please.  I will buy new extenders as well.

Hey there, @user_33a36d. Thank you for reaching out to our team. Our pods only work with our modem, as they were designed for them. I am having some trouble understanding the issue honestly. 


Does the garage door have to be connected to a 2.4 or 5 Ghz connection?
