Ping latency

Hello i have noticed my latency on multiplayer games such as fortnite has been slightly slower

when i check it. On fortnite it would show i had 0 ping but now it is around 25-30. Is there any way to fix i tried all trouble shoots and still have the same issue. This problem has been around for 2 weeks now. I also have the gigabit xtra plan and use ethernet

Is this issue isolated to Fortnight, @user_5o2rg6, or, are other games impacted too? Is there another game server you can try connecting to? And, have you tried swapping out your ethernet cable to see if it helps?

ive tried 2 different ethernets and other games have been impacted aswell like valorant and call of duty

A ping RTT of 0 is simply not possible unless you are located in the same room as the game server. That reading was some sort of software or hardware glitch in the game's systems or the client program. Lots of gamers would be thrilled to have a ping value as low as 30 ms.

@BruceW​ okay so i had this internet for so long and it was always 0 in game and suddenly its 30? nah i think its something else

@user_5o2rg6​ I'm in the same boat, I had 0-8 ping in creative at times and now its 25-35 regularly. plz lemme know if you fixed it. I'm about a couple days away from calling ATT fiber lol. It's not just us right?
