Need a pin code to install nortons

Comcast no longer offers Norton or any other AV software. They would have us believe that their "xFi Advanced Security" (see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/online-security-with-xfi-faqs) is just as good, if not better, than actual anti-virus software, although it is only available to customers who rent one of their modem/router/eMTA gateway devices, is pretty much a "black box", and lacks many features available with Norton or McAfee.

To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary

 • Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://comca.st/3JB7y7T 

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

 • Press Enter to send it
