Perfect connection sub 20 ping yet games all rubberband randomly. nearly 50 million

I have done so much troubleshooting and feel that maybe its being caused by a hardware issue with the coax cables or coax drop amplifier.

Hey, El1214! Thanks for reaching out to us on the Xfinity Forums! I apologize to hear of the issues you are having with your internet services when you are trying to game. I understand how it can be frustrating when you're trying to have a good game and all of a sudden your character starts to bounce around all over the place. Can you let us know more about the wiring to the modem?

-Is the coax cable going from the back of the modem to a wall plate, or does it go into a splitter before going into a wall plate? If it goes into a splitter first, have you tried to bypass the splitter?

-is the coax cable bent more than 90 degrees anywhere along the way from the cable mode to the wall plate/splitter?

-Have you tried to unhook the coax cable from the modem and the wall plate/splitter and let it sit unhooked from both points to "dry out" in case there is any interference on that portion of the line?

-Can you post a picture of what your signal looks like? This should be in the area where you got the error corrections. You can also find out where to get it from on this link.

We also see that you have sent a DM. Please be reminded that sending unsolicited Direct Messages to an Official Employee of the Xfinity Community Forum is a violation of Forum Guidelines.
