Paused laptop keeps reconnecting

My daughters laptop keeps reconnecting to wifi after I pause it. It pops up as "generic brand windows pc/laptop" over and over again.

@Crystl9 Hello, thanks for the post. Have you tried to fully remove both of the devices from the network and try again with the process?

Yes, I have. I have to erase all the previous laptops, I've erased and reconnected her laptop and named it and it continues top pop up as a whole new laptop.

Have you tried resetting or power cycling your modem by unplugging and plugging the device back in and then "forgetting" the device @Crystl9?
