Hey, @EA415! Thanks for reaching out to us on the forums! I apologize to hear of the issues you are having with your packet loss. I know how frustrating it can be to have the stutter when playing an online game. Having a look into the signal to the modem, there are some channels that look to be slightly out of specification, but nothing that would cause packet loss. Do you know if the coax cable from the back of the modem is going to a wall plate, or if it is going to a splitter before going to a wall plate?

Also, if you prefer to use your own modem, you would just need to make sure to have a modem that has a 2.5Gb wan port. You can see what modems are compatible with your speed tier in the list of compatible modems after you input your address and set the speed tier to 1.2 Gbps.

@XfinityMichaelC  hello no i have no idea unless you mean once i moved out for awhile and they remodeled the house and cut the original cord and xfinity came and added a splitter from the wall to add the coax part again. I have 2 gigabit 2x and when I updated they told me my netgear cax80 was not compatible ?

Thank you so much for those details. Currently, the Gigabit x2 is only available with our Xfinity Modems. I apologize for that inconvenience we are hoping in the future to allow using your own equipment. How long has the splitter been connected?
