Only getting 44Mb upload connected directly to approved modem on 1.2/200 plan
Hi all, I recently upgraded my entire network to take advantage of 1.2Gb+ speeds, mainly for the 200Mbps upload speeds from Xfinity’s network upgrade. I have the one approved modem (Netgear CM2050V) connected directly to my PC via CAT6, with a 2.5Gb NIC. While I get 1400Mbps speeds down, I don’t get more than around 45Mbps upload. This is more than I got before switching to the faster plan and better hardware, but still far short of 200Mbps. Is there some limit due to owning my own modem, even though it’s approved? Or does Xfinity need to flip a switch on their end? Thanks in advance!

The 2050V has been "temporarily" removed from the "approved for higher upload speed" list. See https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/faster-internet-speeds-now-available-until-you-backdated-my-modem/65978b4f2e4f0f284530df88?commentId=659a8be32e4f0f2845312956 and https://www.reddit.com/r/Comcast_Xfinity/wiki/knowledgebase/next-generation-internet/.
