Ongoing issues with my storm ready wifi device

I had received my storm ready Wi-Fi device as part of the Comcast. Rewards program. I've been having ongoing issues with the device staying active or connected. I get the air message or device needs attention. After several hours of rebooting the modem and device it will final get connected. Can someone please assist me with this matter I really love what the device stands for and it's attended use.
