Thanks for reaching out to us,  we do apologize for any inconvenience you're having with your connection. Can you tell me what kind of trouble steps you have taken?

I used to have mg7550. Zero errors for months. Then comcast did some maintenance in the neighborhood overnight a few weeks ago. Had many UnCorr errors. Comcast thought it might be old modem. So I now have mg8720 (docsis 3.1)  Thru reddit  modmail they checked line and after a day or 2 and a few reboots, it seemed fixed. (now banned on reddit ?) Then one channel ( I believe #7 started having errors. This morning I power cycled modem and again it seems OK. No errors after 8 hours. I will check again in a few hours.

Still decent speed (3/16 8am) and only a few UnCorr errors - notice the downstream blue arrow on modem never stops blinking - prev modem always 'locked' on and glowed steady.

user_8y368j That can sometimes mean that there is an issue such as coax connection. Have you checked your cables to make sure they are at least finger tight?

Having just swapped modems, yes - the 2 connections involved are nice & tight. Issues only happened after comcast 'repairs' in the neighborhood. I had 3 months of zero errors before the 'work' was done. Nothing on my line/pole. Just somewhere else in the neighborhood.

user_8y368j Gotcha, but the speed/connection is solid and service is running smoothly other than the light not showing a solid status and a few errors?

I'd like to believe some day it will stop blinking and not have so many  OFDM PLC   errors.

user_8y368j If you want we can look at your account and send some new signals over but honestly if everything as far as your connection is solid, I tend to just leave things alone (If it aint broke don't fix it), but at the end of the day it's your call.
