Not Getting Speeds I am Paying For

I have been getting a constant 20 mb/s over my ethernet cable even though I am paying for 600 mb/s. I have xfinity's provided modem:  Voice and Data Modem ARRIS GROUP, INC. TG3482G

Just looking for any suggestions on how to fix this? I was thinking about getting my own router/modem but I would prefer to not have too.

Can't see your pic. Since you are a new poster, it needs to be approved by a Forum Admin. That could take some time. In the interim you could try hosting it at one of those free third-party pic hosting sites like Imgur or Photobucket and post the link to it here.

There are no service interuptions, no recent changes, I know my computer has a good connector for my ethernet because I have had 600mb speeds before on a different provider. I have a xfinity provided modem and I do not have a router. I have reset multiple times, but I dont have a connetion problem, I get internet just fine, just not what I am paying for.

Signals Levels are:

Downstream Power Levels: Roughly 8.2 dBmV

SNR: Roughly 41 dB

uSNR: I could not find this value.

Upstream Power Level: 43 dBmV

I dont have Epon.

I checked the even logs and it seemed like there were a large amount of critical errors.Capture.PNG

Cables are all new so I figure it probably is not that and I do not have a splitter so it is not that.

I am not even sure when my speeds really slow down happened, I have not been downloading large files/games for a while so I have not had reason to test it until recently. If anyone has any suggestions I will listen or if you need any more information I can provide it.

Those router component log entries are unhelpful. I'm looking for the modem component's RF signal error log entries.

Be advised that you may not be able to get them.  We've seen many posts here recently indicating that they have now blocked the end user from accessing the error logs in the Comcast supplied gateway devices. A BIG mistake in my opinion......

Yeah, I don't see them anywhere, I'll have to try to figure something else out or maybe just call them and go through them.
