Not able to access Teams, https://portal.office.com/, and https://www.linkedin.com/

I have Xfinity Internet service for my home WiFi. The cable modem (Arris tg1682g) seems to be blocking a few websites as shown below. I am pretty sure that it is not my computer because I can access these websites fine when connecting to a hotspot on my cell phone. I can successfully access other websites such as Google, Gmail, https://my.xfinity.com/, etc. I've tried to do a factory reset on the modem but no luck. Has anyone seen this issue?

Warm regards and thank you

Same issue with Microsoft products in Denver on Fiber in the same time frame being reported here 6/15 to 6/22.  I would appreciate it if @Xfinity_Support had a customer advocate program where I feel like I am actually being helped with this issue instead of always feeling "deflected away" by everyone in their organization. One person from customer service called me back and asked me great questions and said they entered a ticket for me. I have no idea how to contact that person again or how to look up my ticket.  This is the most irritating situation I have ever been in with a company.

They are also reporting an "outage" in my area but other then this issue everything is working as expected.  Are others in an outage area but still have service?

@user_2e0aa1 My wife's IT department resolved this issue on her Windows 10 work machine by having her log into Barracuda Network Access Client.  I am unaware of the configuration they applied but thought it might help someone down the right path.

Hey there @user_2e0aa1 were you able to get these resolved or do you still need assistance with this?

I no longer work for Comcast.

Hi @XfinityDevinC .  Thank you for following up. It appears that as of 11:54 pm United States Mountain time that the problem is resolved. I would like to follow up tomorrow morning to confirm this fix is permanent and I would like to see that others on this thread are working as well. I can confirm that I made no changes on my side so someone in the Xfinity organization fixed the issue.

@Xfinity Support As you can see, more customers have been reporting the same issue posted here and the number has been increasing, can someone in the Xfinity support team share a daily update, please? It has been a week already and the issue has not been resolved. Warm regards.

I am having the same issue - not being able to access OneDrive and other Microsoft services from my home Xfinity network, since Wed, June 15. I am in Colorado as well; I see posts from several customers in Denver.

When I switch to a Personal Hotspot on my mobile phone, all of these programs work correctly. I was told during a customer service chat that the supervisor knew about this issue. Is there any expected time for a resolution?

@GeorgeN_3. No estimate at this time as our team is investigating the source. I can keep an eye out and follow up if I see anything.

The only possible fix that I have seen to this is using an outside VPN like Nord VPN but I have not tried this as I do not want to pay for an outside VPN.

If any have had any luck with this fix, please let us all know.

@user_83dad9 My premium cost subscription to DashLane includes a HotSpot Shield Premium VPN.   I can invoke it whenever I need it, but at a severe cost in speed.

The other drawback is that, using VPN, OneDrive does a reset each time, which means any "keep locally in addition to the cloud" files start from scratch in terms of syncing up with the cloud, so I'm reluctant to do that.

We need Xfinity and Microsoft to negotiate (yet another, because it has happened before) truce so that Xfinity modems with MoCA configured will "play nice" with OneDrive, LinkedIn, and other Microsoft cloud-based services.

For me, changing the DNS on your network adapter in Windows to Google (8.8.8.8) worked as a workaround until they get this resolved. https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using

@user_215a3c hmmmmmmmmm. That's odd. I suggested that yesterday and was told it didn't help.

I wonder if the person that said it didn't help even tried it.

I have no way to test as I am not experiencing the issue.

@d0gg It didn't help me (changing DNS servers).  I tried it this morning and it had no effect.  The DNS resolution to IP addresses for the Microsoft servers I am trying to connect to was exactly the same for Xfinity DNS servers as they were for other DNS servers (Google, Cloudflare, etc.).  So, unless your new DNS servers are giving you a completely different IP address for the Microsoft servers (or whatever you are having problems with), then it would have no effect.

I can confirm what @user_ba0f1f said about configuring the Google DNS servers: it has no affect.  I tried it on June 22, 2022 around 3:30 PM MDT and when  I try to navigate to https://portal.office.com/ServiceStatus it comes back with the exact same response as before:  ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT.

At least it was worth a shot.

@user_5e3c64 Thanks!  That does do the trick.

@user_5e3c64 at a severe cost in speed, at least that has been my experience in June 2022.

Still, if it's the only thing available to provide access to various Microsoft-related web sites and services while Xfinity and Microsoft wage war on each other (or at least break yet another "truce" - there have been several if you do your research), you do what you have to do to accomplish the task.

With still no resolution to this problem or updates on a fix i am guessing that this will sort itself out when everyone switches to another provider?

I will have to switch to another provider probably today or tomorrow, the situation is untenable.  Unfortunately my husband's company uses a microsoft vpn network so that doesn't work either. Xfinity bad service here!

I am from Michigan and am experiencing this as well. Either no access or if I am lucky enough to get access, it is not for long and crashes, locks up. This is for office365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and outlook, also my works S:  drive. Has anyone received a fix yet? This is seriously affecting my work at home job.
