@user_1fabb4  I appreciate you reaching out to us through our Xfinity forums about the Norton Security. Because of the protection xFi Advanced Security provides, we’ve decided to no longer include Norton Security Online with our Xfinity Internet service beginning January 1, 2021. This helpful link  https://comca.st/38HVdk9 has more information on that topic for you. If that is something you would like for your household you would have to sign up for that separate subscription through Norton.

Despite marketing speak from xfinity, it has nothing to do with any 'advanced Security'.  Many subscribers have older xfinity hardware that does not support any 'advanced security', and need some form of internet security.  They dropped Norton because of one reason:  money.
