No option for WPA3

I've XB7 Technicolor gateway. I don't see an option to select WPA3. I only see one option on the mobile app or the admin tool which is WPA2.

I've already followed the instructions from the picture attached in my attempt to change from WPA2 to WPA3 so please ask new questions or suggest new steps.

I've two different SSID's for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Not sure if that makes any difference

@hulkmz On the Xfinity App, you can select the Wi-Fi tab>Wi-Fi details>Edit Wi-Fi Settings>Security mode. The WPA3 options will be available there. Have you tried that already?

I need help with this too. I checked on my gateway and my xfinity app and I'm unable to change for WPA 2 to WPA 3. Because of that two iPhones in my house have a security warning when we connect to the 2.4 ghz. I also have the XB7 router. Everything else in my house works well with the router other than the Ring doorbell that rings in the middle of the night. We suspect that when there is an update to the router, the Ring just rings in the middle of the night.

I have exactly the same issue. When I go in through the gateway, I get the message that the settings are automatically managed, so no go on selecting WPA3 there, either. FWIW, security is WPA-AES, so I don’t understand why my wife gets the weak security warning on her phone. I do not get that warning, and I have the latest iOS installed.

I woke up this morning and the security warning was gone on both our iPhones. No idea how that occurred. Possibly it happened because Malwarebytes updated overnight . Who knows but it’s gone.

My wife logged out (the message on her phone implied we were using WEP, when we have WPA2-AES) and when logging back in the message is gone. The gnomes are working…
