No internet

I need to speak to a LIVE person to get my internet back online.  Days have gone by trying unplugging, absurd bot Chats, circular automated phone systems, waiting for text returns to schedule a call…. Help me now!

user_ksc99 Greetings! Have you checked the status in the Xfinity app? Typically, if there is something impacting the connection from a local level the app would provide a clear explanation of why the service is down.

Of course I have.  Multiple times. It tells me there is a connection problem- unplug, wait 5 min, reconnect everything and we will text in 10 min to see if it is fixed.  If not we will connect you with an agent.  Those texts NEVER come.  Your customer service is beyond abysmal.  It is impossible to get a person and/or any resolution.  In the meantime, I’m without internet going on a week and I work from home.   Unacceptable.

And for the love of God, stop awarding me ‘badges’ for commenting in this forum.  This is not the Girl Scouts!  Adults don’t want your insipid badges- we want efficient problem resolution.

While our team doesn't control the badges automatically assigned with the community forum, we are typically great to work with because we'll do everything we can to review and resolve issues quickly. Have you recently reviewed these Connection Troubleshooting Tips, by chance? I find that to be a great place to start, so please let us know if you notice anything else that can be tried or adjusted on your end. Otherwise, we may have to take a closer look, which we're always happy to do :)
