I wanted to move my cable modem router to the living room where there is a coax cable but I connected it and there is no internet on that line do I need technician to fix that or can that be done remotely?

It can't be done remotely. Before you pay for a tech visit, you can try to trace that coax line to the other end and see if it is disconnected from a main cable splitter somewhere.

If the outlet is in the wall, remove the screws and pull the plate out far enough to check back side to make sure the coaxial in the wall is connected tightly to the plate and the connector end is not pulled loose on the cable.
