no internet connection

ive used the xfinity assistant with no help. i need a person to look into my issue with not being able to get the internet to work. the modem with go through its cycle and either end up with just blinking green like or all white solid but still no internet. ive unplugged, restarted the gateway. changed coax ports to another room. still the same thing. there are no outages in my area.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
