No internet and lagging

For the past couple weeks I’ve been having issues with my internet, everyday it shuts off randomly, when I’m watching a movie or playing games it starts to lag and then eventually internet shuts off, a technician came to fix the issue and changed the modem for me, thought the issue was fixed but nope it’s still happening I’m honestly not sure what it could be.
