No ground wire installed

Hello there, I've had Gigabit at this address for 2 1/2 years, install done around Christmas of 2019. I didn't realize it until today, but there is a missing ground wire at the MoCA filter where the aerial run meets the house run. Last summer we had some severe storms that came through, and destroyed the old modem I used to use. The new modem was also hit as well at a later time last summer, but is still working to this day. I didn't think much of then, but today while I was preparing for a fiber install I took a peek in the enclosure and noticed the ground wire is missing

Are ground wire installs not typically performed for internet-only service? (or at least around the time of late 2019)

Aside from the missing ground wire, signal has been perfect (Consistently maxing out at 1Gbps over a standard gigabit NIC)

There is a code requirement for the system to be grounded / bonded. Get a tech out to investigate. There should be no charge.
