Hey @user_ial8jm, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We would be more than happy to assist with the Xfinity XER10 device. Are you attempting to install the device for the first time or is the device already activated and attempting to connect a PC?
With this advance device, there are three 1 Gbps Ethernet ports, and one 10 Gbps Ethernet port. The 10 Gbps Ethernet port should be the second power above the power port that is located at the bottom. In order to take advantage of the 2 Gbps, you will also need a computer that has a 2.5 Gbps network interface card (NIC) or higher.
Most devices come equipped with a 1 Gbps NIC, so you would have a bottleneck and not be able to achieve the full speed due to technical limitations. Do you know if your device is equipped to handle such a fast speed? You can see the technical specifications of the device and more by visiting our 'Overview of Xfinity WiFi Gateways and Routers' support page.
