Network not showing on dell laptop

I can access my home network on every device, not my laptop.  On my cell phone and tablet, the name of my network appears.   On my laptop, other networks appears (I assume that these belong to my neighbors), but the network that shows up on my cell and tablet is not listed.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
