Network name does not show up

New customer here. Just activated my router after picking it at the Xfinity store. It’s plugged in and apparently online, but the network name does not show up on any of my devices so I can’t connect. What’s happening here? Never had this issue before.

user_3o3yn5 Thanks for reaching out! You may need to update the WiFi name, and password by using the Xfinity app.

Not helpful. Have set the name several times. I hate the app. Can I just do this online?

@Nebbo sorry to read you're not a fan of the app. What you can do is use the Admin Tool referenced in the link @XfinityMartyR provided. However, once WiFi Intelligence is enabled on an Xfinity Gateway, you can no longer manage the WiFi Network Name/Password in the Admin Tool. There's also the TV box option if you are a cable subscriber.
