Network Damage Outage for 24 hours

Hi! I have had an outage due to "Network Damage" for close to 24 hours, and status is still "Under investigation" but I'm wondering what those mean and if there is a better answer than "as soon as possible" for possible reconnection time? Are there technicians working on a repair?
