Network attached Cloud storage

Just started Comcast/Xfinity moving my Centurylink network to Xfinity.

Internet is fine but I can not figure out how to get the Xfinity supplied Modem/Router to recognize my WD (Western Digital) Cloud storage. It worked just fine on my old Centurylink supplied Modem/Router combination.

It is installed via a Ethernet port.

Contacted WD support and they said the new modem/router is not recognizing the device.

The MAC address of the device does not show in the l"Router Attached Devices or UPnP Table".

How do I get the Xfinity Modem/Router to recognize my cloud device?

I have spent several hours today talking to m,ultiple levels of Xfinity support to no avail. The last one did not even know what a disk drive was believe it ot not and the person was a third level support person.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would like to know how to do this as well. It's never been difficult before I got the xFi modem/router.

Hello and Happy Sunday! I hope you’re having a great weekend so far! I also appreciate you taking a moment out of your day to reach out to us on our Community Forums! You’ve reached the best place and perfect person to help with virtually all of your account needs! Going forward, I'm truly sorry to hear about the cloud storage system in use that is unrecognized by our xFi Gateway as this definitely sounds like a frustrating situation! I'd like to help in the best way possible.

To confirm, do you currently have the xFi Gateway in bridge modem by change with another separate router that you're using by chance? I sincerely appreciate all your patience throughout this process!
